Thank you for placing an order with us. We will deem that you have read, understood and agree to our Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions regarding these please call us before placing an order on 01780 654088. Your statutory rights are unaffected by our terms and conditions

Placing an order

When you place your order you guarantee that all details provided by you are complete, accurate and correct, and that you are authorised to use the credit or debit card you are using. Please note that all fraud or attempts at fraud will be reported to the police. Additionally, by giving us an email address, you agree that email is an acceptable form of communication with us.


If your order has not arrived when expected, you have received the wrong product or have any other problems with your delivery, please call us on 01780 654088 and we will investigate immediately. This may take a day or two.

Delivery costs are included in the total price at the time of order and a breakdown is available on your invoice, which is usually in the box or bag. Please note that deliveries outside Great Britain may be subject to extra charges for customs clearance and for some countries we require additional information such as ID numbers. Please call for information or contact your local customs office.

Product Description and Availability

We aim to keep our full range of products in stock at all times, this is not always possible. If unsure, please call to ask about availability of an item. Please note that all custom made covers and mats are not from stock and are made to order. For these items an estimated delivery time is available at time of order. Due to factors outside of our control, such as seasonal demand, availability of fabric/carpet and staff holidays, this can vary. If there is a specific date for which your car cover is required, please ensure that you inform us when you order.

We reserve the right to modify or withdraw any of our products and amend prices at any time.

We aim to ensure that all product descriptions, photographs and prices are accurate. In the unlikely event that you notice a mistake please let us know. All orders are placed ‘E&OE’ – Errors and Omission Excepted. If we have priced an item incorrectly we retain the right to cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price. You will be offered the opportunity to either cancel you order entirely or to proceed at the correct price.

For Shipments outside the European Union

Note that products shipped outside of the EU may be subject to taxes and duties that are outside of our control and are payable by you. These shipments must be cleared by you, the consignee, and you may need to travel to clear these shipments.

If the shipment is refused, duties and taxes are not paid or the parcel is returned undelivered to us, all costs will be deducted from any refund due to the purchaser.

Our Guarantee

For all of our products we provide a straightforward 12 month warranty. So - any product purchased at full price from carcovershop develop any problems or faults it will be repaired or replaced free of charge. We may ask for the original to be returned to us for inspection before a replacement is shipped. Note that we can offer a repair service to our covers after this time at modest cost.

Consumer Distance Selling Regulations

This means that, if for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 7 days of the date the product was delivered, and we will issue a full refund less our outgoing carriage costs. Please note that all items returned must be unused and in pristine condition. Important - a minimum 25% deduction will be made against goods returned that do not meet this key point.

Bespoke and custom made items are excepted as they are made specifically for customers’ individual orders and cannot be returned except with our express agreement.

This does not include goods that are faulty. If the cover is found to be faulty within one calendar month of delivery the cover may be returned for a full refund, replacement or repair, at our option. After one month the cover will either be repaired or replaced. Any claims for refunds after this time will take usage of the cover into consideration. This does not affect your statutory rights.

With the exception of faulty or damaged goods, it is the customer’s responsibility to return goods to us at the customers expense. Where goods are faulty or incorrect we can arrange for our courier to collect items. We are unable to exchange items that are not damaged, defective or incorrect if the item is outside the 7 days. This will not affect your 12 month guarantee if the item has broken due to a manufacturing fault. Again, this does not affect your statutory rights.

Returns – standard off the shelf products

If you have received the wrong item, the item is faulty, or if the item has been damaged in transit, please contact us immediately (within 7 days) and we will arrange for it to be returned at our cost. We may ask you to post the item, in which case we request that you obtain proof of postage and the cost will be refunded to you.

If you have simply changed your mind, under the Consumer Distance Selling regulations, you have 7 days to inform us of this and return the goods at your own expense. If you are returning your item(s) please inform us by phone or email and send the goods back to us. Please note that the responsibility for safe return lies with the customer. No refund or replacement can be issued until the goods have been received in our office. Please send a copy of your Sales Receipt or a note so we can identify the customer. This does not apply to custom made goods.

Important – Please note that all goods returned in exchange for a new item or refund must be in perfect, resaleable condition and sent with appropriate paperwork.

For all goods that are not returned in suitable packaging and pristine condition, a minimum 25% retention will be made against any refund. Any returns sent without the appropriate paperwork may take up to 6 weeks to process.

Returns - Custom Made Products

Please note that as these products are made to order they cannot be cancelled once the order has been placed or altered once work has begun. Fabric colour swatches are available on request.

Privacy & Liability

We will treat all of your information as confidential and we will not pass on any of your details to any third party. Note that this website is operated by Morethanpolish Ltd and you may receive communications under that name.

We have all reasonable steps to ensure that all information we hold is stored in a safe and secure way in line with PCI standards. Our website is secure and shopping on our website is protected. All information stored both on our server and in hardcopy format is stored as securely and safely as possible. No credit card details are retained by us. However, we cannot be held liable in the unlikely event of a breach in our secure computer server or physical break in.Our liability to you shall not in any case exceed the value of the products purchased from us.

Your Statutory Rights

We have been serving discerning car owners since 2003 and want you to be delighted every time you buy from us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items. If this occurs please refer to our returns procedure above and the Consumer Distance Selling Regulations.

Who pays for returns

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning any items to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged or defective. If we have to arrange for collection of the item from your residence, it will be at your cost.

Returns to us, when agreed by us, will be reimbursed at the lowest possible rate for return shipping. This is likely be be an on-line service line myhermes. We will not pay substantially more than you paid us initially.

You should also note that once we begin the delivery process you will not be able to cancel it.
